The machine can be mainly used for all kinds of suspension which contains fine particle with diameter of 0.005-15mm, the concentration of 1 - 40% and temperature of not more than 100 ?. Also can be used for the separation of 3-phase mixture in which the solid's density is higher than the liquid, and there is density difference (liquid-liquid-solid), and the separation of liquid-solid suspension and particles, especially for the suspension separation in which the filter cloth is difficult to regenerate, and its concentration & particle size changes lot. The machine is widely used in the industries of chemical, pharmaceutical, food, petroleum and environmental protection, etc, including coal tar's dewatering, industrial and urban sewage's sludge removing, starch's washing & dehydration, soy protein's dehydration, lees dehydration, juice's purification & pulp fiber's dewatering and crude oil's dehydration, etc. And it can also be used for the processing of PVC resins, ammonium sulfite, barium carbonate, strontium sulfate, lithopone, diatom mud, gypsum, bauxite, peanut protein, vegetable oil, citric acid, blood meal, titanium dioxide and kaolin drilling mud, fine coal's dewatering, powder coal's dewatering, waste oil's purification and mineral's grading, etc.
Working Principle:
Relying on the density difference between solid and liquid, and by the centrifugal force, Horizontal spiral centrifuge accelerates the sedimentation rate of the solid particles to achieve solid-liquid separation. The machine consists of drum, spiral pusher, differential mechanism & power, and frame etc.. Drum and spiral pusher rotates at the same direction by high speed, drum and spiral pusher's speed difference is about 2-30 rpm under the effect of differential mechanism. The raw liquid goes into the drum which is rotating by high speed from the inlet, by the centrifugal force, the suspension whose density is bigger will rapidly accumulated on the drum wall and form the sediment layer, and be pushed out of the drum by the discharging drum. Clarified liquid is constantly discharged out of drum's big end, so achieve the suspension's liquid-solid separation. If liquid is emulsion containing light/ heavy phases, by the different gravity, the light and heavy liquid circle can be formed, and divided by the drum's big end plate. Through the centripetal pump, while the heavy liquid will be discharged from heavy liquid outlet, so the solid-liquid-liquid separation is realized.
